I recently purchased a 1975 Fiat Spider as a third vehicle and project car for the wife and myself. I noticed that my left head light only worked on high and decided to change out the fuse and a few others that were corroded. Before I change them out, when I turned the key I would head the fuel pump and my fuel gauge would move before I turned on the engine. After I switched out the few fuses neither the fuel pump or gauges work and the engine won’t turn over. Where would I start to track down this issue?

Is the fuse box beside the steering column on your car, close to the ignition switch?
If so, maybe you dislodged a wire on the rear of the ignition switch?
The starter circuit is not fused on this car, so should still work regardless of any fuse issue.
Do any other electricals controlled by the ignition switch still work e.g. turn signals, stop light, wipers?

Yes the fuse box is on the left side of the steering column. No the turn signals, lights, and wipers do not get any power at all.

I’ll look to see if a wire got dislodged.
