Hi everyone,
My 1960 Fiat 600 will be here soon and it’s going to be a full tear-down and restore (and conversion). I’ve been looking at suspension upgrades and I’m leaning towards the independent suspension upgrade seen here:
www.dangelomotori.it
I’ve got a ton of further questions, like is there a rear independent suspension upgrade? Are coilovers the best way to go on the rear end? I know independent suspension in the front needs the coilovers and also needs to be reinforced. Do the front brakes need to be upgraded along with the suspension? Which sway bars are best, front and rear?
Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I’m not intending on making a car I drive fast a lot (but there will be that possibility), but I would like it to handle great (more important than speed). I’m probably going to put some 14” wheels with wide tires. Lowered with flares…fun stuff. Cheers!
