could be between 101 and 180 whihc is what iv been wuoted, depending o what needs changing.

Not many diag machines can reset the service light, you may need to go to Fiat for that.

not sure about dpf im afraid, how could i find that out? as have looked in manual before but cant find anything about it.
but it doesnt have air con.

Anyone have a rough estimate of the cost of a third year service for a 1.9 GP. It was nearly £500 last year need to know if I need to start saving and not have a holiday again this year!

How much? What did they do for the £500, surely more than just an oil change? Any garage can do a service on your car as long as they use genuine Fiat parts, then you won't lose your warranty. If its older than 3 years, check out here:http://www.fiat.co.uk/content/?id=2182
