Technical 182b2000 in punto from 2000

Hallo forum.
Hope you guys can help me, I have a 1,2 16v punto from 00, engine code 188a2000 whit a blown headgasket.

I have been offered a cheap engine from a bravo whit code 182b2000,
Is it possible to install this in my punto?
What is the difference between the two engines?

I know the engine from the bravo is in good condition therefore it is cheaper than repair my engine ;-)

The bravo engine might not have phase sensor
where as yours might,

carnt see what other differnce there wouid be other than manifolds & connections on sensors,

yes i have a phase sensor

I have been Google Pictures of the engines i think ii will have a problem whit the engine bracket also.

unless i can get a clear answer i might bee better of repairing my old engine.

What is wrong with old engine,?

the headgasket has blown, and i can get the other engine cheaper than a new gasket/bolts and testing the enginetop

iagree.it does work out cheaper buying a replacement engine,

but sometimes you can end up buying bad lump, (gamble,)
