17s without lowering

Evening all,

Anyone put 17s on a Bravo without lowering it?
I've got an HGT and the ride is already harsh enough without losing 30mm of travel.
I want to put the 17" TSW broad spokes on but don't want to end up with a car that looks like it's on tiptoes.

Any views on this?
The car is a Mk2 HGT so it's already a little lower than standard.

many people including myself toy with the idea of not lowering the car when putting 17's on.

When it comes down to it I think there is no point in putting 17's on a car if you are not lowering it, it just wont look right.

When I put my 17's on it raised the car quite a bit, I then knew I had to lower it, it now looks so cool:

Seriously mate just get it lowered, it handles so much better, looks so much better etc.

Yer lower it mate - mine should of been lowered last monday but its now this monday cos my garage ****ed up lol.
Mine is also a 155 HGT Mk2

Ultimately it was the unlowered one at the end that made my mind up.
