Hiya Everyone,:)

I have just picked up a new ducato motorhome with the 160 multijet engine,I am running her in gently for the first 2000 miles on a trip over to spain,Iwould like to give her an early oil change on return from trip, approx 3500 mile round trip,Can anyone kindly advise what engine oil the 160 takes please,Synthetic? Non Synthetic? Semi? Also the Viscosity,Any help would be most appreciated,

Kind regards Satis:confused:

160MJ must be the 3.0 engine, that means it needs a synthetic-based grade SAE 5W-40 that passes ACEA B4, API CF and FIAT 9.55535-M2 specifications.

so basically any 5W-40 semi or full synthetic oil will do the job nicley. personally i'd opt for full synthetic.

dont forget the engine may use a lot of oil for the first few thousand miles until it is run in (a litre per 1000miles is not unusual). keep an eye on the level.
