If I order a Panda My Life, can I expect to get a 12v power socket? The Fiat website says it's standard spec on Pandas, but I've looked in several showroom cars, and there's no 12v socket. Sales staff can't explain why.......

It's a Fiat Panda, we're lucky if we all get matching wheels! Don't expect, demand, tell them it's part of the package you want, that you're paying for and insist on having - let them know that if the car arrives without one you'll not take if from the premises until they supply and fit a socket.
Is it just me or have times changed that much? You used to sit down with the salesperson, talk through the spec' and add in any extras before signing anything and handing over your wad....
