Technical 110 diesel clutch judder

anyone heard of crankshaft problems on the 110 diesel? I have a cold start clutch judder & the garage mechanic told me there have been crankshaft problems on this model..mileage 95K.

any ideas?

I have read that various people have had problems with the clutch friction plate braking up and been advised NOT to replace with a FIAT part as they are prone to early failure!

Also dual mass flywheels have been known to fail, infrequently!

The clutch master cylinder is the cause of many problems and bleeding can sometimes be a remedy.
