Hello. I am new and have joined in order to learn and fix up my Fiats.
I have three 1957-1959 Fiat 1100 or 1200 TV convertibles in various stages of disrepair. I have 'inherited' them from my father. I would like to know how to identify them. The only numbers I have are from the plate on the chassis in the engine bay. The one I am starting with shows two sets of numbers - one above the other.

I am supposing the first numbers are the engine type and the last numbers are the number of the car in the assembly line process. I do not know why there are two numbers. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Hi Dave,
I just joined and saw you post. If you still need information on the Fiat TVs I may be able to help. I have owned one since 1979 and now have another. Just let me know.

I have uploaded a picture of the 57 I purchased several years ago (yellow). The car is 99% original with 62,000 miles. Very solid body except for a small rust spot at the back of the right rear wheel well. The only part I am missing is the original air cleaner which I lost while moving. Anyone have one?

Also uploaded is a couple pictures of another 57 fiat 103TV that I converted it to a speedster with chrome molly tube frame, custom built suspension and a turbo charged F20C1 from a Honda S2000. Sorry Fiat purists

I have lots of pictures of other interesting 103TVs and documentation/specs if you're interested.
