Too much technology will make my car heavier I'm old so the insurance is cheap anyway and I'm good with legal stuff so they can shove it as I won't save much. These insurers tend to be dearer anyway

and what happens if you make a claim and the camera wasn't working right at the time?
And how more expensive is it to start with. I've stopped doing these multi car policies for instance as I can get it cheaper separately
This has certainly been our experience - finding the right insurer for each individual vehicle can work out cheaper. But we're still the main contact for any questions, advice or amendments.
I now pay less than £300 for a Fiat Punto 1.2 and a Rover 220 gti fully comp with extras for me and the wife. Admiral multi car wanted over double that and some so they were told were to go
Who's that with though, may not be a case of the multi car is working out more expensive because you've 2 cars with them on one policy, but potentially more down to you potentially getting better cover (depending upon the insurer)!
I'm unlikely to make a claim unless it's serious and I've had only 2 times I've needed to and neither my fault. I think the Rover cover is the best I've had seems to include most things including a set price for the car what with it being a classic (pipe down you Panda owners they said that about your once) and the Punto one seems to have everything covered I need and I got a Meercat :slayer:

No never I need it and now I need to get the set or they will get lonely
