General 1 key or 2

Hi,

I handed my car back to the leasing company today, who asked for the 2nd key that came with the car.

Problem is, when I originally received the car it only came with one key.

Any ideas what I should do, as I definitely never received a 2nd key and I don’t want to be charged hundreds for a key I never received.

Do you have a Fiat 500e or a 1.0 Mild Hybrid as they are two completely different models?

The 500e has keyless entry so should come with either 2 fobs or 1 fob and a wearable "pebble". From memory, there was a period of time just after launch when pebbles weren't available and some cars were delivered without two keys. In addition, there should be two small mechanical key blades supplied in case the 12V system won't power the keyless entry.

The ICE version of the 500 should come with a 3 button flip remote key and a spare mechanical key.

Depending on which model you have and which key is "missing" will influence your next steps.
