1.9 multijet Diesel

Can anyone help. I have a Croma Dynamic, 06 plate with the 1.9 Multijet Diesel engine. When I accelerate in 2nd or third gear, there is a slight judder as if the engine is stuggling for power - a slight lag. On a run it is ok. Fuel economy is about right but I was wondering if anyone had experienced a similar problem or knows of a solution.

I am Darren by the way, a newbie here but not a Fiat virgin. I have had a 127 and a Marea in my time. Hello all. I am a diesel virgin as have been petrol until recently.

Well its been a week so try these 2 things.

Search... use the keyword (letters) EGR & MAF.

You can also try some injector cleaner to see if that helps, but my 50p would be on either the EGR is blocked up or the MAF is not doing as it should.

All will become clear if you try a Search, hot topics amongst the Derv guys & gals in here!
