Technical 1.9 jtd engiine light on after clutch change

Hi,
just had new clutch at local reputable garage; the engine management light has now come with no power above 3000rpm; I think one of the connectors or sensors has not been properly reconnected; any ideas to save me the 1 hour drive back to the garage?

no joy thus far with this; whenever I set off for the garage for an electronic readout the light goes off, usually after going over a bump; also goes off if substantial weight in boot; car then drives normally........
