OK - Got in the car tonight - last used only 48 hours ago.
Battery is less than a year old but the battery was totally flat?
Absolutley no prior indication of any issues at all. No starting probs - no warning lights / errors nothing?
No mods at all - standard stereo etc.

Read through associated threads here but no obvious pointers?

Anyone?

check Boot internal light... have a play with all the on off switches to internal lights too..

had a problem with my r400 where the boot light wont go out when boot door was closed... so drained the batt...

So what have you done - just charged it up enough to get it to start?

Not had chance to check yet but gonna charge up overnight and see how it holds?
There was no noticeable signs before hand - engine cranked OK etc.
Gonna check that Boot light though - that never actually worked since I had the car - in fact I don't think theres a bulb in there? Could that be shorting somewhere?
Cheers for the advice guys.................

Update guys - got the car running by jumping off my Alfa - ran around the block - got home - switched off then immediately tried to restart - dead. I'm sure this meant the battery was failing - should have picked up enough charge from the Alternator to restart after running for a bit? The battery was only 8 months old so have replaced under warranty - sorted - no more issues! Bit naff it failed though
