anyone with a 1.6 have an induction kit/gsr, exhaust and remap?
whats the power like after? or how much different does the car feel to drive?
i no its not going to be a massive increase in power but say after its 130bhp whats the torque? and the 0-60 does this change much?
just wondering if its worth doing...:D

to be honest mate they might give you all the extra bhp but not on their own, you will need a combination of things to make a little difference. all you might get is more noise and the illusion of more power.

I have and i couldn't really comment on the feel of the power increase as i am taking too much power from the car and added the weight of Rick Waller in the boot.
I saw from doing the three that you described 127BHP and 116Ft Lb torque. Although i ran 118 as standard (but that wouldnt make a difference anyway i just get less value for money on the remap than a normal car)
But would i say its worth it :D Hell yes, the combination of having the Zorst hand built, the GSR and the Remap makes the 1.6 Stilo a truly mad sounding car. Anybody who has heard mine on the Rolling Road will tell you :p

...examples of a 1.6 with GSR induction amongst other mods :D

As with tuning any car, do all the bolt ons first THEN get the remap to make the most of them (y)

That really sounds insane! Want to do the same with my 1.6, but don't know what the correct size will be for the exhaust? Can you supply in inches please? I'm from South Africa so I want a custom one made up for the car. Any suggestions? Does the 1.6 stilo have a cat exhaust? Can the whole exhaust be changed without any electronic hickups afterwards?

Hy there Coldflame
The best place to get the exhaust system done on your Stilo 1.6 done I would say is Viper in Kempton Park, Gauteng. They are very professional. They dino your car before and after the install and guaranty a 12bhp increase at lease. There is a bit of a waiting period to get in but its worth the wait. Phone then and have a chat to them.

I am also busy doing up my Stilo 1.6.

That would have been cool if I stayed in Joburg, I'm in CT so I will have to check local installers, maybe powerflow? What size did you go? You have the 5 door or the 3 door? What's your mod list till date?

Hy there. I have a 3 door. So far all I have done is the air intake system. Soon I will be doing the heads and cams. I am also looking at doing a turbo but I that won’t be anytime soon I first need to sort out detail on that first.

On that has anyone here done a turbo on a stilo 1.6 - 3 door?

I very much doubt you gain 12bhp by just adding an exhaust lol. As i have said my 1.6 is running around 127 with all three done, so im sure 130 is a possibilty.

I also doubt the 12bhp gain but that’s what they claim they can do. On other cars I have seen them get between 8 and 15 kW extra but they haven’t done a Fiat Stilo yet so they cans give me any info there.

Well i am no expert on the matter but i had mine custom built from scratch by a guy who builds sport zorsts, and i can say that i would be lucky if on its own i saw 1bhp extra. In total with all three i saw around 9BHP and 20ft torque taking into consideration that i was way over as standard.
