General 1.6 Sporting

The most expensive and pointless additions to the car this month. £206 insurance and a hundred and something Tax (Monday). Grrrrr! :bang:

Still I get to drive her soon. ;)

So thanks to someone in China putting an extra 0 in a paypal transaction £400 went out of my account instead of £40 hmmm.

:bang:

My Punto will sit untaxed for at least two more weeks while I wait for a refund.

Does anyone here have a 16V Punto 85 Sporting and are free on the Mayday weekend?

I'll be partaking in the UK Powertour and would like to settle all the 16V vs 8V threads and debates. ;)

i think they would suit a squarer car better, nice wheels not the less....

If you want non-original wheels on a mk1 i feel you can't beat a set of coupe20vt alloys myself but wheels are such a personal thing - you like them then you go for it fella, its you that has to be happy with the ultimately.

20VT Brembo spec' 16's are too big, poor tyre choice and look like Mondeo ones.

16V 15's are too heavy and look gash.

I think the black GT wheels look okay and would suit the Alfa leather bum holders I've just bought.

The polished 14's look nice and will go on with fresh paint. ;)
