1.6 idle problem very unstabel

Hi all
I have a .... problem whit my brava 1.6 182BB
Sometimes i start engine it cant hold the idle
it goes up and down and if i not hold the gas
gas pedal down if goes out.
Engine is not shaking so all 4 cylinder must running. it like it not can find a stable
idle. hole time i need to give gas so engine not stop.
After a time it ok again. and it can come back.
so i need to start again.
And sometimes wenn i start. NO PROBLEM.
Please have some of you a idea

sounds like your idle control valve is broken. Or it may need cleaning out. Common problem with bravo's and brava's.

they get gummed up with grime and/or break through wear and tear

I would try to find a scrap dealer (get it second hand)who has one as they are 200euros new

It start most of time morning wenn Engine is cold. after 5 miles it OK again.
But have also one time happen wenn engine
have normal temp.
Wenn i drive home in aftenmoon.
No problem.
Today no problem. 1 celsius in Denmark this morning.
