My 1.6 sx is making a dull loud-ish noise when braking. Drives fine every other way. Would anyone have ideas what could be cauzing the problem?

Oooh Tom there'd be 50,000 on the car and brakes were done at 40,000.
It still brakes perfectly though??!

Probably the disc are past their best. Jack it up and spin the front wheels just to make sure its not a bearing.
