1.6 Engine Light on Dash

My girlfriends sisters boyfriend has bought himself a Y reg 1.6 and he's only had it two days and a light has come on, on his dash. Its a yellow/amber light and it looks like an engine. Any ideas what it could be? The car runs normal and there where no pre symptoms.

Yeah also forgot its a Y reg 1.6 100 Fiat Bravo. So what exactly does the light mean. My jtd doesn't have it.

Non of them. They are from a diesel. His car is a petrol 1.6sx.

Could be anything from a blocked air filter, blocked exhaust, leaking exhaust, duff lambda, dodgey injector, any number of things!

Diag time.

Guess its back to the dealership for him then. He's got a years warranty on it so.
