hey guys,
new here my names sam, nice site.

wondering if you could help:
just passed my test (YES) and i am awaiting my bog-standard 1.4 active sport grande..
now i was reading the spec ect, and it says that it comes with a CD/MP3 player.
does this mean that i will be able to connect my ipod through the glove box or will i need to order a new wire or something along those lines.
thanks in advance for your help, i would like to have my ipod available to play when i take to the roads!

thanks again,

sambell.

No - the cd player does not have an ipod input - but you can get around 150 mp3 tracks on a single cd though !

There seems to be a way of connecting through the Bluetooth system (optional). See the other threads on this.

You do not need blue&me to play IPOD mp3's
Fiat do an IPOD interface - the usb on the glove box will not work on early models.
I have bought one of these from Fiat for my GP Sporting.
Part number is - 50901536 Approx £70
Please check with dealer if your car model is compatible.
This then plugs into back of the radio and threads through to the small tray behind the ashtray. Then plugs in to an IPOD.
This will operate IPOD from the steering wheel controls or radio.
The setup is defaulted to run from playlists created with itunes.
Unfortunatly there is no holder for the IPOD with this kit.
This part took a lot of tracking down for me because Fiat don't seem to know it exists? Well worth it though.
This kit only works for IPODS -
hope this helps
regards
Shaun
