Ok, guys i need ur help , i currently own a punto selecta and a full set of fiat coupe 20VT+ alloys. I have seen punto GTs using 20VT alloys :slayer:and badly wanted to put them in, but i have this mechanic here that has a very large extent of knowledge on puntos ( mine was brought form him :D) , and when i told him of my idea he said there would be a engine wheel ratio issue due to mine is a selecta and not a GT :bang:. Is this true? Are there any other issues?

so i guess its true that it cant be done if i wanna maintain the selector gearbox. Then are there any light weight alloys that can perfectly fit the punto and are a bit bigger to make it look better ?

Hi, just read this, then had to go and look at my Punto 1.2 60s Selecta

it has 15inch rim and low profile tyres, looking at a web site the 14 rims with recommend tyres and my 15 rims with the tyres, match the same rolling diameter, they are just a wider tyre.

So my question would that also affect the gearbox?

Rgds Steve

oic...so basically i just have to have the same rolling diameter as a 14" is it?

you want to use an online calculator to tell you the rolling radius with oem tyre size and then compare with wheels and tyres you want to replace.... this will give you the difference between the 2, a couple of % difference is generally ok.
