1.2 urgent help needed

my car has just started lossing power when acelarating
unless i really put my foot down in low gears and dont change gear until revs are really high but in low gears its just on off on off also some times it backfires any help would be really apreciated

Hmmmm.....

Curious one this. It could be one of many things. Is your air intake clear? Injectors OK? The Lambda sensor could be at fault or, which is more likely, it's an electrical problem.

These things are usually best left to the (good) dealers.
