General 1.0ie coil negitive

Hi, I've just bought an alarm system for my uno and it has remote start, it needs a wire to be connected to the negitive side of the coil for rpm monitoring but there are 4 wires going into the negitive side of the coil, does anyone out there in unoland know which is the negitive wire

The -ve side of the coil is the "points" side - or breakerless ignition module - which will be what you'd need for RPM monitoring.

As I understand it there are multiple wires to both of the primary connectors -

red and orange one side (+ve)
green, maybe another green if you have a tacho, and brown/white the other (-ve).

you want to be in parallel with the green wire.

Either of the greens that go to the -ve on the coil..
