So i found a usb saying windows mobile on it in the glovebox, connected my ipod to that and the car plays songs on random, however i dont see anyway of selecting songs or playlists and so on. any help here? also how hard is it to wire a sub into the standard blaupunkt stereo? is it worth using a diff headunit?

Yes to your sub/amp.
Connections can be done to standard ice.
