I keep seeing Tempra SW's around here

I regularly see 3 different SW's around the South Oxon area,
all driven by people who probably bought them from new,

amazing how the famed guy who was bought in to make them mile munchers, obviously did a fantastic job

I'd still have a TD in my fleet,

my SW was the 2.0 IE,
fast - but not my cup of tea after the tipo TD's ,

Who was it?

Ah the 1.9 TD.

I dread to know what was spewing out behind, but as the oil pressure gauge settled in and the turbo gauge started to climb, those miles just seemed to roll on by

but over the years they have proven reliable / durable

AND I still LOVE the look of them..,

My local garage guy looks after a tired but original K-reg 1.6 SW, orangey-red, run on a budget by some old boy. Would love to see it saved and preserved...

It's a 1.9 TD. Trying to work out the bhp - any idea how to find out? I think there were different versions, but it can't be 66 (wouldn't move?!) must be more like 90?

2.0 with climate sounds luvverly! Still at least it's got the digi dash! It's my 1.4 DGT Tipo clone, ahem.....

This was a Didcot car, oddly, that's why I was asking. Typically it had moved to Bury, rather than being conveniently nearby!

Td and digidash..perfect.

I went to France every few weeks. And prodding the miles / kms button was SO USEFUL..zeros the trip of course.

Engine was @ 92 bhp..

Still got a few odds and sods..including the fuel filter plug..wiring for moisture in derv.

Its there where the french put a drain screw......

Still got some sales literature..let me know if theres owt you need.

Thanks Charlie.

Plenty of history with it, but no brochures sadly! As far as I know, I don't need anything mechanical at the moment - I guess that'll come later....

When it's back (can it be back, when it's not been here already?) we'll have to meet up & you can prod round it!
