Good morning, I'd like to pick your brains please. Husbands van had problems with exhaust blowing. He narrowed it down and it is the very worst possible scenario - a manifold bolt has sheared in the head. It has been stripped down as far as possible (in order to take to the machine shop to be drilled out) but come to a firm halt with the seemingly impossible removal of the crankshaft pulley. Strange because on my Laguna he was able to remove mine easily on several occasions without any difficulty.
Does this vehicle require specialist tools to remove please? Many, many thanks for any advice offered.

The answer to my question above seems to be 'no' as it has been stripped down and the offending bolts drilled out in a local machine shop and reassembled.
His next question which he's asked me to post is "Where is the damned Temperature Sensor Fan Switch hiding?" (Fan is on permanently)
The air is turning blue in his shed - rather like his language. I think he bought the only Fiat ducato 2.0 petrol which was ever made. Oops! :D

EDIT: I'm also checking out your Ulysees form as our local garage reckons it's the same engine in that and also in the Citroen Xsara.
