Hello All,

Installed a new battery last week, luckily just in time for this cold weather to hit (old battery stopped holding charge).
I want to keep the battery in good nic, so drive the car every two to three days on short journeys.
Would I be OK to let the car run for 15 minutes to do this, or do I need to actually move the car? I'm asking as the roads around me are a bit crap in this weather and if i can stay off them, I will.

Cheers in advance for any replies.

I use trickle chargers (some are marketed as maintainance chargers) on my cars/bikes. At about £70 CTEK are very good, I use mine on the motorbike now but originally bought it for the big battery on the 911 which it coped with, no probs.
The Panda and the 500C are both on Halfords £20 chargers which came with croc-clips and fly-leads and are well up to the job (y)
