Hi
Am seeking some advice - I was recently miss-sold a Fiat 500 Lounge without the TFT display - despite taking a test drive in one with it and being told everything in the test drive car was what I would get.

Am now having an argument with the garage as was their miss-communication in advising me the TFT display was standard.

Can the TFT display be installed in place of the standard dials display now? and if so, will everything on it be fully functioning i.e digital speedometer, milometer, rear parking sensor display, etc.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated as currently have a car with display that I do not want and major disputes with the garage.

If I have posted this in the wrong section I apologies as am a newbie.

Hi and welcome to Fiat Forum,
I doubt a TFT can be retrofitted economically, and even if it could I would not want a "new" car that had had half the dash removed. Too muc chance of rattles and squeaks.
Your only option is to tough it out with the garage. Do you have and evidence of what they said you were getting? If you signed an order specification sheet that said no TFT you re a bit stuck. Did they give you a brouchure? what does it say is standard?

Hi

The dash is likely to have to be removed in any case as that was also damaged - whacking great scratch across it!

We had a test drive in a Fiat 500 that had the TFT screen in it and were advised that if we purchased one of these cars everything that was in the test driven car was included in the price apart from the colour which if we didn't want white would be extra. We therefore placed the order with the only optional extra listed as the grey paint as as far as we were aware everything else was standard. At no point did they advise it wasn't - well that is until the car arrived and we said that was not what as ordered.

They never gave us a brochure it was just the salesman speech.

You should reject the car and get the one you want.
By TFT do you mean the 5" touchscreen or the LCD instrument "cluster"?
