About 3 weeks ago I drove my car home from work with no issues whatsoever. When I went to start it again a warning light came up with "check glow plugs" and the car wouldn't start. We changed the glow plugs, it still wouldn't start. So we changed the battery, and the problem still remained!! My neighbour who is a mechanic thought that it might be the starter motor so we got it repaired and it still wouldn't start. Finally he changed the earth wire as he felt that may be the reason but the problem is still there.

After all this we decided it could be the key and it has a remote in it, so we changed the battery in the key and it didn't make any difference. So I tried the spare key which doesn't have a remote in it and the car still wouldn't start!!

The battery is working fine
The starter motor is working fine

Even though we have replaced the glow plugs, the warning light is still coming up with check glow plugs and it is constantly flashing and the car won't start for love nor money.

My mate plugged the car into his fault reader and no problems or faults came up??

It is starting to really wind me up as we are stumped as to what the problem may be.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.
