Hi Guys,

Those of you that know me iam in the middle of building back up my 1108cc Fire engine and iam keen to know before i go waisting money on parts do i really need too,

I have had the all the pulleys & sprockets off including the flywheel do Fiat change the bolts or can they be used again??? none of them are damaged but most are rusty but only on the hex heads not on the threads and i ask as owning a Renault Espace they are only used once and iam thinking Fiat would do the same???not sure hence why iam asking,

These are the list of bolts i have removed and have this question about,

Flywheel bolts x 6?

Camshaft pulley bolt x 1?

Crankshaft timing belt sprocket bolt x 1?

Crankshaft aux pulley bolts x 3

Timing belt tensioner nut x 1

Cheers all the best Scuderia

As said today, none of them needs to be replaced :).

Ming

Hi Ming,

Yeah i should of done that to start with:eek: i will know for the next time(y),

I haven't replaced any of the bolts yet...well apart from the flywheel bolts:) but seeing as Fiat have changed them as well as the part No as they are now the torque star type bolt i think i will just use the old bolts?? as you rightly pointed out it will not take long for them to go pear shaped if there being removed all the time as you well know there a bugger to work with rather than hex headed bolts are?,

Cheers Scuderia
