If you are actually serious about doing that, it's a huuuuuuuge project! Won't be left with many standard components and you should probably up-rate some of the saftey ones you don't have to.

Will it fit into the engine bay in the first place? If not, where will you mount it? I suppose that's the first place to start in answer to your question. You could try some creativilty and do something like a 3.0l Clio arrangement and have it inside the car with you!
