has anyone tried one? is the engine mega peaky like the old VW 150?

didnt realise they made them, but they are listed on the latest price list.

I have tried it in the Croma - the Multijet 150.

I have the 140hp version in my Stilo (only difference is in the ECU).

What do you mean by "mega peaky"?

I expect the mega peaky means hard to drive, as in all or nothing. I haven't driven a MJTD, but from those taht I have I've picked up that they are not at all like that, but instead are very drivable engines.

I looked on buyacar.co.uk and saw the Stilo is now 1.4 Petrol or the 1.9 Diesel...

If mega peaky means what you say, i have to say mine isn't like that.
It's very drivable. The power doesn't come like a kick in the back, it's just there.

170-190hp (even more if you push it), and with around 370-420nm of torque.
That's without any other modifications like exhaust etc.

Mine is at 170hp and 370nm.
