It's always difficult finding where the earth points are located. You also have to bear in mind that when the eLEARN workshop manual says passenger or driver side, it sometimes means for a left hand drive car, so the connector could be on the opposite side to what the location diagram says.

Why are you looking for C20? That has nothing to do with the instrument cluster. The instrument cluster is earthed via the Body Computer at C15B. C15B is a 6 pin connector with only 4 pins populated (2 x black wires and 2 x black/purple). It plugs into connector C15, which I think is the one below the airbag ECU to the left of the clutch pedal (for a RHD car).

thank you very much for your great reply i will be looking into it this weekend i could not reply earlier , I will make donation to site you are all very helpful :) :)

Just noticed from the eLEARN earth points list I posted above, that C10 also provides an earth connection to the instrument cluster (E4010). I can't find that connection in any of the wiring diagrams, but as C10 is easier to get to than C15, it could be worth checking that first.

C10 is located on the left front inner wing. Remove the lock nut, and clean all mating surfaces. Also, open the connector housing to clean the internal connections with electrical contact cleaner. Don't use oil based products, e.g. WD40 or anything abrasive on the internal connections.

The stud is welded to the inner wing. When removing the lock nut, hold a spanner on the square section of the stud, otherwise it's likely to tear out of the weld.
