As the title suggests really....
The Abarth is the wife's car. A brilliant car too. Unfortunately she got some bad news earlier in the week regarding her job. The competitions and marketing authority investigated a buyout of my wife's workplace and found against the purchasing company. They've been told they have to sell my wife's store and the company are making her relocate to a different store 30 odd miles away, the other side of a toll bridge too.
She may take a pay hit as well as the added issue of increased expense for her commute, so we need to rationalise our expenses a little. One option is to change the Abarth for a jtd. She loves her Stilo so a swap would possibly be one way of going.
If you have a JTD - must be 3 door hatch - and might consider a swap for an Abarth then let me know. Would consider straight swap for the right car - remember Abarth's carry a good premium over rest of the range normally.
Our Abarth is raven black (metallic) with black cloth interior. around 80k miles on the clock increasing with use. Full service history. Cambelt done at 55k. Not perfect with some age related marks but in great nick inside and out. All coil packs replaced, rear brake pads recently done plus seized rear offside caliper replaced. Previous lady own and obviously driven by my wife now so not had hard life. No squeaks bangs knocks or anything, a pleasure to drive. Even comes fitted with 4 month 'new old stock' genuine abarth car mats which are rare as hens teeth these days.
I'm based in Grimsby North East Lincolnshire, willing to meet in the middle if needs be.
Cheers
