I decided to add LPG to my Stilo because is cheaper fuel.

I will use the following parts.

KME Diego G3 ECU
Autogas Italia Reducer
Magic injectors + Rail
BRC 600x220mm tank 47Lt

Here, cables of the ECU, MAP and temp sensor and filter added.

I had to bypass the petrol injectors to get signal for the LPG injectors but I would prefer not to cut the Stilo cables so I get plugs for the injectors cable one to connect to Stilo's ECU side plug and another to Stilo's petrol Injector side plug.





Ready and connected to LPG's ECU.

Today I connected the Reducer to the coolant loop.

Today I fitted the LPG tank at spare wheel compartment.Its a BRC tank 600x220mm 47lt with 38lt 80% max. With this size the boot floor didn't rise at all. I think that this size its enough, from calculations I expect a 550km range with 26 Euro (38lt x 0.675euro and 6.9lt/100km consumption with LPG, I have 6.2lt/100km with petrol)

That looks like a pretty neat install. It's handy that the tank is a decent size really. Usually to get a good tank, you get a bulge on the boot carpet..

On the other hand, how many miles will you have to do before the fuel saving pays for the cost? The 1.2 isn't exactly a gas guzzler..?

costs to buy that kit?

I installed the kit myself so far and my concern is to fit the parts as clean as possible and in optical order.

The cost to buy the front kit + tank new is about 300€

I have it for free from a used punto with 188a5000 engine same as mine.

It will cost me only papers and MOT, about 100 euro.

I do about 30000km per year and the petrol cost is about 2500euro so with LPG will save about 1200euro.(half)

At last I finished the LPG conversion!

Make sure you don't run out of benzina. You need it to start the engine.. and the fuel pump needs to be immersed in fuel otherwise it will over-run and fail.
