A bit of advice needed. I am looking to get rid of the good old limp exhaust on my 1.6. There is so much choice on the market that I don't know where to start. Should I get a full system or just a back box? What make should I get, etc. Help needed!

I've got a 1.6 too. I opted for a custom backbox from www.exhaustsUK.co.uk you can go in, choose how you want your exhaust to look and sound...all for about £150...mine cost £185 because I opted for a larger tail pipe and some bumper modifications. I really recommend using them, its a great service and comes with a 30 year warranty.

Obviously, there is no real performance gain from just a backbox, you would need to go cat-back for a small performance increase, I think these work about £300 for a custom one.

Ben R will also recommend a supersprint system, this is the best choice for you if you want to see a real performance increase as they are designed specifically for the car (his sounds amazing on the abarth!)
