Hi can anyone shed any light as to way my car makes what I can only describe as a whistling noise when I put down the accelerator only had the car a couple of weeks so trying to sort a few issues out any help would be welcombe

That's probably the turbo doing its job. I wouldn't worry about it

Check for leaks in the inlet air piping.

yeah, could be the turbo, could be the pipes as Devren says. Also check your air filter and air filter housing.

most likely your turbo makeing boost ( boost makes Swwwwssshhhhhhh)

Hi just checked all pipe work and no problems all jubilees are ok had mate rev car why I listen and noise seems to come from turbo so looks like all is ok and I,ll have to get used to the noise thanks to all who advise on this

There is a common fault of the intercooler hose that goes through the wing on the near side chaffing on the plastic inner wing and splitting so check that.

No intercooler on the 80 though (i was disappointed when i found out)
