Hi.

I was trying to find similar threads here, but eventually I have to make a new one. After a major repairs done in service (crankshafts worn out and changed along with stuff going with it) car is revived and goes like new. But a "small" problem came along after the service:

1. When I start the car for the first time (in the morning usually), it fires instantly, no matter whats the temperature outside: -30°C or +30°C
2. When car is parked (and cools out a bit), for say half our or more, it starts only after cranking for 5-10 seconds (”That's not good enough, my dear Dr. Watson”).
3. When car is on working temperature, if I turn it off, it starts just fine on again.

Car is stilo 1.8 petrol, 5 door, 2003. There are no other issues.

It seems like there is a engine temperature range when problem occurs, I suppose that outdoor temperature makes influence on this - on winter car cools down faster so it shortens the period of time after which car starts fine again. During summer, car remains worm longer, so sometimes it makes problems after 8 hours, as it does now. I park my car at 7am, and it makes problems at 15pm when I go home from work.

Sometimes, when I start it up and go, it runs lazy at 3000 rpm in second gear, but just for first 200-300 meters, and only at that rpm. If I continue to hold that rpm for few seconds - then it starts to jerk. If I lift the foot - the problem disappears and it does not come back. Those 200-300 meters solve the problem anyways, and it even does not occur if I shift to third. Actually, I don't have that problem for a while, but I have mentioned it if it helps anything.

What is this, my friends?
