Hello

I'm thinking of buying a cheap handheld scanner for reading fault codes. It has be an stand alone scanner as i haven't got a laptop. I've seen some on ebay but they are only for diesels '04 onwards. Mine is a 52 reg, can anybody recommend me one please?

I was in the same boat and although I didn't do an in depth look, I found most of the handheld scanners weren't very useful unless you wanted to spend some £££'s on a decent one.

In the end I bought a cheap Advent 2nd hand laptop for £50 on ebay and got the free version of fiat ecu scan..... works a treat for the amateur non mechanic type like me!
