I finally managed to get onto ePer for the first time, and I have some questions... :stupid:

1. How do you find "your" car... for example, where is the 2.4 Abarth 3 door manual? The closest I could find is the GT which is listed as "192.3EZ.1(0) | BN 2.4 BZ CF3+EOD 20V 170 CV "GT" 3P-N.G." - would that be correct

2. Then when you are viewing parts, for a single component such as "air conditioner" there are a number of different product codes listed. Some are in grey and some are in blue. Am I correct in guessing that items listed in blue are compatible with the car you have selected, while items in grey are not compatible - which is why when you choose "Browse by Version" and don't choose a vehicle model all parts are listed as blue, because it doesn't know which model you are interested in?

3. Ok, so I know i've been told that upgrading aircon to dual zone is impossible, but at the risk of flogging a dead horse, if I got to the page http://www.findmyoldcar.com:7080/na...E=3&SB_CODE=-1&SGRP_COD=3&SGS_COD=0&DRW_NUM=1 I assume I'm in the correct section for aircons?

Ok, so next step, then am I correct that table 1/7 lists manual aircon, while table 2/7 lists dual-zone aircon, while all the rest seem to be universal between the two systems?

So then the new items for climate control are the Electronic Control Unit and two Temperature Sensors?

And finally, the one thing that may be a bit of a problem is that the actual airconditioner part numbers for the two are slightly different... how would one find out what the specific differences between the two parts are? Is there anyway to dig deeper into the sub-parts of a bigger part like the aircon?

Easyest way to get ther correct version is to type in your Chassis number on the first page in the format zfa19200000?????? this will identify your car including all the correct version types, when you view the section you will be provided with a reduced selection.

Good luck with the aircon technically it is possible, but does involve some major additions.

thanks for the help!

I don't have my chassis number yet but as soon as I get it I will do that.

Was supposed to get my abarth two weeks ago, but then the dealer that had the spec i wanted wouldn't do a trade with my local dealer. So then they sourced another one from some dealer a couple of hundred miles away and took a week to truck it up.

so it finally arrived and I went to look at it this morning and it looks terrible  There are scratches on the bodywork, the white parts of the two-tone leather are brown and marked, there is a dent in the pdc strip on the back bumper, there are scratches on the door panels... :bang: no wonder the other dealer who had the vehicle hadn't sold it yet!!!

so now its going to be more fighting with fiat, can't wait for monday!!!

yes! the new car that is supposed to now be delivered to me! and now i guess i'm supposed to feel obliged to take it since they just trucked it a couple of hundred miles for me, but i really dont want a car that's in worse condition than a badly cared for second hand vehicle

Obliged to take it? How? Why?

If it is new, it should be that - not ripped to shreds - the only way I would accept it is if they gave me a nice big discount i.e. make it equivalent to a second-hand price ;)
