hi guys
anyone seen this before, the car is running perfectly, no faults just when i turn off the ignition everything lights up and dash bleeps.
There are no faults stored on the ecu, alternator failure flashes up and im sure this is what is causing the bleep.
Ive had the car running with fes and the alternator is supplying good voltage, around 13- 14 volts depending on load / engine speed.
The battery is brand new, and is steady at 12.4 volts with ignition on engine not running.
I can live with the fault as it only happens for a split second but seems wierd that its just manifested itself.
Only changes to the car reacently is retrofit cruise control, i had to run 12+ve to the black connection block but this was about a week or two back- the car has been fine since installation.
I went out there and removed the retro kit to make sure that wasnt the problem but it still does it.
any clues??
you will see exactly what i mean in the short video i just took on attachement.

cheers roy

Looks like a relay is sticking allowing power to some systems.

sorted it....!!!!!
I went to the old reliable, the d4 connector.
Anyways i fitted cc a few weeks back and at somepoint a single tiny peice of copper cable (single thread less than 3mm long) had found its way into the connector, it was shorting two pins just.
i removed it and blew it though with compressed air and voila the fault dissapeared.
The single thread must have dropped in there when i was installing it and stripping cables, and eventually worked its way accross the pins.
thanks for your help, it did make me think about that area where the relays was and brought me to the correct diagnostics in the end
thanks
roy
