I have had various problems with my Abarth, the latest problem being when driving I get an electrical shorting sound that seems to be coming from the fuse box on the left hand side.
With this sound all my dials drop down too zero (the temp gauge, speedo, petrol gauge etc)and the haedlight switch on and off again.
I have just reported this too my dealer and as with all the other times I have taken my car in they just say 'we cant find anything wrong at the moment but we have tightened all connections etc'
This is an intermitten problem but it is very annoying.
Has anyone else had similar problems or does anyone have any idea what may be causing it???
Cheers
Scott

Are you Sure the sound coming from the Fuse Box?and not the Electrical Power Sterring?A problem occured on my Stilo 1.6. All of the sudden the Drivers Door indication says door open, the Thermal rear window is on, the Cabin lights are on,the Flash light left side is on. I brought it to today to the Shop and they will change some part of the computer what they explained to me or maybe the wholle computer. But I have to wait 5-6 working days for the part to be ordered from Italy.I guess is problem of the computer for you too.

Sounds like the body computer. I had mine changed. Check out post under REMOTE OPERATION FAILURE.

My BC will be replaced tomorrow (hopefully), i had an appointment today, but those d***heads didn´t tell me to bring the spare key and key-code. My dealers near my place of work, not my home[V]

Don't forget also the code for your CD player. They will need that also.

I had exactly that problem - the dealer solved it evenutually (usual ineptitude) - they replaced a coil which was being shorted by a spark-plug (not being a technical person have no idea what this is but to save a lot of time I would tell them to look at that first.

Best of luck

Mick.
