Hi all, I noticed some time ago that when I press the clutch pedal it makes a noticeable squeaking sound that I can also hear from the outside (when my wife’s parking the car) I sprayed the rod going into the master cylinder from inside the car with some WD40, some white grease spray, some regular grease but it still makes this very noticeable and sometimes loud sound. It’s definitely sounds like two parts sliding and rubbing and make these squeaking noise. The pedal has also some play I can press it let’s say 10% down before the rod starts pushing on the cylinder. I read a thread from @vladof a while ago where he had similar problems. The clutch also bites very high when the pedal is almost fully depressed. I tend to think that it’s always been like that since I got the car 4 years ago at just 50 000 kms but I am not that sure as I drive it every day I perhaps slowly adjusted my driving style to the changing clutch pedal behavior.
