I am currently replacing my abarth sat nav unit with a standard stilo cassette unit before I sell my car. The cassette unit doesn't fit the cage! What have I done wrong? If the two units need different cages, is it a fiat dealer job or is halfords going to have what I need?

In essence I need to get the cassette unit in before Friday! Any ideas gladly accepted!

Not sure about the cage, but weren't there some settings in the abarth bord computer that could only be done though the SatNav unit?

I Believe it does not have the same cage, but let's wait for someone else's confirmation on the matter.

The CN+ and the standard radio cages are different and orderable from Fiat.

I doubt that a Fiat standard radio cage would be available from Halfords or any other supplier.

Don't suppose anyone has a spare cage of the right dimensions for a cassette player head unit stuck behind their sofa?

LMFAO thats one way of doing it. I would personally be pretty annoyed if i bought a car like that but by the sounds of it you will be selling it cheap so no biggie.
I actually threw a cage away a few weeks ago. I didnt think it would ever be needed lol.
