Hi,
I'm considering asking an Auto-electrician to remove the orange connectors and soldering the airbag cables together (the warning sign is on more often than not with the multi-stage system).

I think there are four connectors that are more prone to fail than others, - i.e. the driver, passenger and the two rear side airbag connectors. Should I consider any others?

Cheers,
Steve

It could be any to be honest have you checked if your ocs sensor is workin properly >? also have you tryed glovebox and rear wheel arch? you should disconect the bat for half hour then clean the connections with electrical cleaner let dry then reconnect the bat and see if that works if it doesnt then find out from a auto electrician unless you just wanna do the wiring your self it took me 10 mins

Hi,
I've used the electrical contact cleaner countless times and without a diagnostic I'm urinating in the wind unless I clean them all, hence the reason to hard-wire (by an auto-electrician, not me!).

Is it worth soldering the connectors at the wheel-arch and glovebox? I'm presuming that the main culprits are the airbags for the rear seats and the front two airbags under the front seats.

Is there a diagram that will show the location for the airbag connectors for a Stilo Multiwagon?

Cheers,
Steve
