I was at my dealer last Thursday and enquired after the forthcoming Schumacher. Then we talked about the differences between the Abarth and my 1.8 3dr. He stated that the Abarth has substantially different suspension and steering and said it handled miles better than mine - something I would question! Is what he says true or just a steaming pile of sales manure?

Well when i had my Eibach springs fitted, the ones that they ordered would not fit as the abarth springs were totally different. So maybe there's some truth in it ?

The Abarth and the 1.8 have the same steering rack. As far as suspension goes, the Abarth has a different setup, but it isn´t that big of a difference. Drove a friend´s Abarth back-to-back with my 1.8...
