Hi
My windscreen washers are not working, the water is not being pumped onto the screen (back and front).I am assuming that the motor or pump is burnt out.I dont even know where it is under the bonnet let alone replace it.Can anybody help please.

It is under the reservoir for washing fluid. You have refilled it yes - yes?

if you cant hear the motor when you hold back the stalk then its the pump just had to replace mine, bit of a pain in the ass as one of the bolts had rusted, as morty said it's underneath the the reservior bottle on the left side of the car.

check out ebay, stilo washer pump, about £10 inc packaging. or a scrap yard. this is what your looking for.....

under the bonnet you'll see two thin black hoses running up the left side above you reservior, half way down these (should be round about where the top of the reservior is) you can disconnect them, dont lose the plastic connectors that are inside them, then get a 9mm spanner and you'll find one bolt at the top of the reservoir and one underneath (need to jack the car up for this). just take the reservoir off, replace the motor and stick it all back in, you might connect them up wrong so that when you pull the stalk it sets off the back windscreen instead of the front, so just switch then round before fixing the reservoir back in place.
