General stilo multiwagon bhp

Mick,
What year is the car? I don't think the 80bhp has been made for ages.
You'll notice by driving as the 80bhp in a multiwagon will be very very slow I would imagine.

its a 2005 jtd dynamic.

I don't think Fiat continued to make them that late but i'm not an expert.

As ICS19 mentioned the 115bhp has an intercooler. If you look through the nearside front bumper grille I think from memory you should be able to see the intercooler, it looks like a small radiator or oil cooler, is rectangle and about 6 inches wide by 10-12 inches high.
I guess the 80bhp would have a solid bumper grille the same as the offside, ie. no vents in to let the air through.

When viewing, if it is a 115 listen out for a whistling sound when accelerating, if audible inside the carm the intercooler pipe probably has a crack/split and can effect performance.

Hope this helps, Good luck

Excellent,
If you buy it, get it remapped and you'll see around 150bhp which is a drastic improvement and much more pleasant to drive.

how much would it cost ? would it make much difference to mpg ?the loss of power :(and going from petrol to diesel is going to be quite a shock to the system so any extra power will be a bonus lol

Think you should drive it for a few weeks before you think about mapping it, As argo says its no slug, far from it. I run one and i have great fun and its standard but just gets thrashed most of the time.
