Ive got a feeling I already know the answe but thought i would check with you guys, Ive just bought a '53 plate Stilo Estate JTD for very little money and I have no idea whether its the 80 or 115 engine, unsure if there is anyway to check via engine numbers etc?
Ive seen on previous threads that it goes by the Co2 figure but the figure for mine doesn't tie up with anything, it shows as 149kg
Its an Active model

I suppose at the end of the day it doesnt really matter what it is, its just such a good feeling getting 50+mpg and only paying £125 for a years roadtax lol :D

Have a look in the registration document the engine number for 115 BHP contains A1 the 80BHP contains A3.

Cheers Folks

Just checked and it has indeed got an intercooler, woohoo its 115bhp

Its the simple things in life that brighten up your days, i was kinda thinking i'd ended up with an 80hp model as its pretty baron on the spec, well for a fiat anyway, but now im a happy man :D

Thank you again.

p.s. is it worth chipping it? everyone says chipping diesels is the best thing you can do but dont want to chip it if its gonna screw it up

Get a remapping went from 122HK 271NM to 154,3 HK 323NM
