(G) Fault codes

Hi all,

I have a U480 fault code reader/clearer. Unfortunately the codes listed in the booklet only go up to P0999. does anyone know where I can get a list of codes beyond P0999 as I recently have been getting P1121 and P1687 codes showing up. I know what these codes are by using the SEARCH facility on this Forum, but it would be handy to have an extended code list.

that's no Fiat fault code list.....

I believe this is a Fiat manufacture specific code list but haven't proved it all yet. There's also a list for the new Ducato, some of which may also be applicable to other Fiat models.

In the Ducato list there is a small section for CAN problems. What do the acronyms NCM, etc mean/represent?

U1700 CAN Network (NCM - NBC)
U1706 CAN Network (NCM - NFR)
U1711 CAN Network (NCM - NCA)

Can anybody guess or better know?

They refer to NODES on the CAN.

NCM = Engine Management ECU
NBC = Body Computer
NFR = ABS ECU

Don't remember what NCA is.

Thank you. By process of elimination, NCA must be either airbag or steering ECU then.

NCA = Automatic Geabox ECU. (Nodo Cambio Automatico)

Although thankfully you're here to clear it up for us. Just managed to use the above in conjunction with MES to diagnose an Engine ECU issue on dads dualogic Panda. Luckily it was a missing engine ECU fuse (don't ask)
